Man visiting from Ecuador accused of sexually assaulting boy

Toronto police have arrested a man visiting from Ecuador after he allegedly sexually assaulted a young boy in the city's east end.

Guillermo Hipolito Minan Pinto, 40, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. He appeared in court last Wednesday.

Police say the incident happened at Crescent Town Club and Community Centre at Crescent Town Road and Victoria Park Avenue near Victoria Park subway station. It's alleged that Pinto approached the 11-year-old boy in the pool change room after he had finished swimming and sexually assaulted the young male.
