Man wanted for fatal Scarborough stabbing surrenders to police

A third person has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Scarborough on Saturday evening, according to Toronto police.

Police and emergency services were called to 20 Brimwood Blvd. near Brimley Road and Finch Avenue E. around 6:45 p.m. Saturday for a stabbing.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as 51-year-old Clayton Hunte of Toronto, police said in a news release issued Thursday.

The stabbing happened after the men got into a fight, police say. Images from the scene showed a crime scene in an underground parking garage.

In a news release issued Friday, police said a 20-year-old man from Markham who was wanted for first-degree murder surrendered to police on Thursday.

On Monday, police arrested a 22-year-old man from Toronto and charged him with first-degree murder in relation to the stabbing. A 23-year-old man from Markham was arrested and given the same charge on Wednesday.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
