Man and woman arrested in Chatham for torching two trucks at dealership

A man and woman in Chatham have been arrested after they allegedly set fire to two pickup trucks in a dealership parking lot.

The pair allegedly set two separate fires at Campbell Toyota on Richmond Street around midnight in March.

The trucks were fully engulfed in flames by the time emergency crews arrived and the fires ultimately caused $116,695 in damage to four vehicles, according to Chatham police.

A 27-year-old man and 26-year-old woman have been charged with arson.
