New Manchester United third kit confirmed by David Beckham on Instagram

Manchester United legend David Beckham appears to have leaked the club’s third kit for the coming season on Instagram.

The black and white Adidas jersey has been dubbed the 'zebra design' and fans on social media have compared it to recent shirts from both Juventus and Newcastle.

Beckham posted an image of himself wearing the new shirt on Monday evening alongside the caption: “Love the new United shirt.”

With black stripes covering a white base, the jersey also has a stencil-style club badge with red Adidas logo and iconic stripes running over the shoulders.

The shirt retains US car giant Chevrolet as its principle sponsor, with the partnership due to run out in 2021, while American manufacturer Kohler again have sleeve sponsorship rights.

United have already release their new home and away kits for the coming season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side begin their campaign at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday September 19.
