United centre-backs Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are still unavailable, so academy product Teden Mengi has been training with the first team. Van de Beek is fit and available to take part.
For Palace, defenders Gary Cahill, James Tomkins, Nathan Ferguson and Patrick van Aanholt all remain sidelined. Mamadou Sakho has returned to training, as have Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham. Coach Roy Hodgson said earlier this week he was hopeful Jairo Riedewald would train ahead of the game, too.
