While Mandy Moore might use prosthetics to transform in to the much older Rebecca Pearson on NBC’s mega hit “This Is Us,” she’s laughing off rumours that she’s herself has gone under the knife.

In an interview with PopSugar, the 34-year-old actress/singer said she stumbled across a blog post that said she got a nose job, and it struck her as quite odd.

“I was like, ‘That’s weird — my nose is pretty imperfect,’ she said, adding that she says she has a crinkled part underneath the bridge of her nose. “I remember laughing like, ‘I feel like I would have fixed that had I had a nose job.’”

She added that people are still going to believe what they want, but says she’s OK with that.

“People think everyone in Hollywood has had a nose job or some work done, but it’s not always true,” she told the site. “If having work done is going to make somebody feel better about themselves, then more power to them.”

Moore also opened up about how playing the version of her character, Rebecca Pearson, in her 60s, has made her more comfortable with age.

“I’ve loved getting older. I wouldn’t go back to my 20s if you paid me,” she said.

“It’s fun to look at pictures of myself and see the little lines around my eyes and see my smile lines — I feel like I’ve lived a full and happy life and that’s just another indication of it.”

It’s not the first time she’s opened up about how her character has impacted her views on aging.

In 2016, she told People that during character tests to get her aged character right, she“had lots of time to examine myself at various different ages.”

“It’s weird watching it, seeing the third episode going like, ‘Wow, I wonder if that is how I’ll age,’” she said at the time. “I’d be pretty OK with it. Rebecca’s taken fairly good care of herself. I’m embracing aging. I’m ready for that to happen in the next 30 years. I’m not scared of it.”
