Mario Lopez, 47, flashes toned abs in pic with wife: 'Baby momma of 3, working on #4...'

Mario Lopez is clearly enjoying his vacation.

The 47-year-old actor showed off his toned abs and beautiful wife Courtney Mazza in Instagram photos Thursday. “Baby momma of 3, working on #4...Besos to my queen, Mrs. Lopez,” he captioned the spicy series of snapshots showing the loved-up couple soaking up the sun on a beach in Punta De Mita, Nayarit, Mexico.

Fans were quick to comment on the post. “Stunning couple,” one wrote. “You guys are so cute together. Made me smile,” another fan said. “Love you guys blessings ... this guy don’t age amen,” someone else said.

Lopez owes his sculpted body to a balanced diet, fitness regime and healthy mind. When it comes to nutrition, he told Men’s Health that he believes every plate should have protein, fat and carbs and swears by portion control. "Buy smaller plates! If you eat off of them, your eye won't assume that you're cutting down your portions," he said. “We've become this big-gulp society where everything is larger, bigger, better, and venti. Just take things down a notch."

Lopez also noted that he eats whatever he wants and discouraged paying too close attention to calories. “I don’t believe in calorie counting or in depriving yourself of anything. Use a little common sense. Every plate should have proteins, carbs, fat on it. Eat a little throughout the day, and just practice portion control, probably the most important,” he noted.

As for exercise, consider buying his book for the answers: Mario Lopez's Knockout Fitness: The Six-Week Plan for Sculpting Your Best Body Ever. Most importantly, though, the former Saved by the Bell star uses exercise for mental health. “I like to say I train more for sanity than vanity. I feel awake, I de-stress. It’s very therapeutic for me,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “Involve your family, and have a partner to help keep you accountable, so even when you don’t feel like going, you don’t want to let the other person down.”
