Marjorie Taylor Greene Tells Infuriating Lie About Kamala Harris During DNC
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) marked Kamala Harris’ acceptance of the Democratic nomination Thursday by lying about the presidential candidate’s stance on reproductive rights.
“Kamala will make abortion up to the day of birth the law of the land as a major part of her presidency,” the far-right fabulist wrote on X as the Democratic National Convention wrapped up. “Absolutely tragic.”

You better believe informed people on X hit back hard at the mendacious MTG for echoing conservative nonsense. But first, to make it clear, her claim is FALSE.
Some Democrats advocate for abortion later in pregnancy to protect the life of a mother encountering complications. But Democrats, Harris included, do not support terminating healthy pregnancies up until birth. As it is, less than 1% of abortions are carried out at 21 weeks or later.
So when critics on X, formerly Twitter, not-so-gently reminded the House member that it’s “not a thing,” they meant it:
