Mark Consuelos flexes after Kelly Ripa says he kept her up 'all night' in bed — but it's 'not what you think'
The "Live" audience cheered as Consuelos flexed his muscles over the innuendo.
After toning it down for the chill of winter, Live cohosts and real-life spouses Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos clearly geared up for a spring awakening at the start of the season.
The couple — who famously once engaged in an on-air, sensual foot massage and staged a sweaty wrestling match with Consuelos in a tight singlet — returned to their unofficial post as morning TV's horniest duo with a hilarious innuendo at the top of Wednesday's show.
"Mark kept me awake all night last night," Ripa told the audience, which cheered en masse while her husband flexed his thick muscles over his head to the sounds of the crowd losing its collective mind.
"No no, it's not that, it's not what you think," Ripa confirmed, much to the studio attendees' disappointment — with Consuelos chiming in to jokingly jab them as "disgusting" for letting their minds stray into dirty territory.
Ripa continued, explaining that Consuelos was "vocal" in bed, primarily due to "a lot of sounds" and "a lot of snoring," which led to an attempt to drown out the horrific sound with noise-canceling headphones.
"You could not be stopped, so I put a podcast on," she said, before admitting that she also tried some "light slamming on the bed next to you" to get her hubby to wake up, but to no avail.
Consuelos then confirmed that he's "going to try nose strips" at some point — putting a comically unsexy cap on the pair's joint tease.
After first meeting on the set of their soap opera All My Children, the celebrity couple got married in Las Vegas in 1996 — a local they returned to for a special set of Live episodes in February, where they returned the favor and officiated a wedding for a young couple.
Live With Kelly and Mark airs weekdays in syndication. Check your local listings for showtimes in your area.
