Saved by the Bell star Mark Paul Gosselaar has reunited with the show's cast.

It's been almost 30 years since the show first aired on NBC in August 1989. The sitcom followed Zack Morris (played by Gosselaar) and his group of friends getting involved in various high school japes. It ran for four seasons, ending in 1993.

Gosselaar shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday night (April 20), featuring some of his co-stars enjoying a reunion dinner three decades since they first met.

As well as original cast members Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley, the dinner was attended by the actors' partners.

Gosselaar's wife Catriona McGinn, Lopez's wife Courtney Mazza, Berkley's husband Greg Lauren and Thiessen's husband Brady Smith all joined in with the celebrations.

Gosselaar has moved on from his Bayside High days, and has had roles in show from NYPD Blue to Franklin & Bash. But, as he told Digital Spy earlier this year, he still doesn't mind being remembered as Zack Morris.

"You can't get upset with things like that. It's endearing. It comes from a good place," he told us.

"It's not too often in your career that you get to create an iconic character, and that's exactly what we did. It doesn't bother me at all."

On reflecting upon the fact that it's been three decades since the show began, he said: "My God. It makes you feel old, doesn't it?"

Thanks for that – it makes us feel even older too, now!
