Marvel announces Blade game from Deathloop developer
Marvel's Blade is set to get a game from the developer of Deathloop.
The new project was announced as part of The Game Awards, with a teaser trailer also released showing the character in a Parisian setting.
In the clip, the vampire hunter is sitting in a barber's chair while the French capital is under lockdown, as a Tannoy voice commands people to stay indoors while the sun sets.

As the barber starts to give Blade a shave, a red alert goes up, before the hunter gets up from his seat, prepares his weapons and declares: "Lock up tight, the night's just getting started."
The in-development game's synopsis reads: "In Marvel’s Blade, Eric Brooks is the legendary Daywalker, half-man, half-vampire torn between the warm society of the living and the rushing power of the undead."
The new third-person shooter comes from developer Arkane Lyon, which has also created the Dishonoured series, as well as Redfall and Prey.

The game comes as fans eagerly await the next Blade big screen adventure, with Mahershala Ali set to take on the role of the iconic character in the MCU.
The project has been long-delayed, with numerous changes behind the scenes, before being recently temporarily shelved due to the WGA strikes in Hollywood.
However, Ali gave a positive update earlier this week, telling Entertainment Weekly: "We're working on it. That's the best I could tell you.
"I'm really encouraged with the direction of the project. I think we'll be back at it relatively soon. I'm sincerely encouraged in terms of where things are at and who's on board and who's leading the way as far as the writing of the script and the directing and all that.
"So that's the extent of what I can tell you."
Marvel's Blade is yet to confirm a release date. The Blade movie has a release date of November 7, 2025.
