Masked armed robbery suspect sought in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly used a knife to rob Sweets Convenience in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Wednesday night.

RCMP were called to the store on Grenfell Street around 11:30 p.m. on report of an armed robbery.

The masked suspect, armed with a knife, entered the store and demanded cash, police said.

He then fled on foot and was last seen running in the direction of the RBC.

No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as Caucasian with green eyes, dirty blonde facial hair and about six feet tall, weighing between 150 and 180 pounds.

He was reportedly wearing a dark ski jacket and pants, white sneakers and a dark-coloured mask.
