Matt Damon Says Ben Affleck Has Been 'Mr. Mom-ing It' Since Completing Rehab

After all these years, Matt Damon still has Ben Afflecks back.

The actor opened up about how his longtime friend is doing after completing rehab while promoting his upcoming film Suburbicon at CinemaCon.

“[He’s] fantastic,” Damon told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s with the kids now, couldn’t be happier. Jen’s working for a couple weeks in Atlanta, so he’s Mr. Mom-ing it right now. And that’s what he wants to be doing.”

Affleck has been enjoying spending time with his three kids since announcing he had completed rehab for alcohol addiction earlier this month. The morning after the announcement, Affleck was business as usual as he was spotted taking his kids to school with his ex Jennifer Garner.

Damon also gave an update on his Suburbicon director George Clooney, who is expecting twins with his wife, Amal.

“He’s going to get prepared,” he said. “He better figure it out, ’cause they’re on the way. But he’ll be great. He’ll be a mess, but [Amal] will take care of everything.”
