Maxime Bernier wants to end net neutrality in Canada

The Trump administration's decision to end net neutrality has found at least one open admirer in the House of Commons: Conservative MP Maxime Bernier. The Quebec MP, a self-styled libertarian, has made a name for himself by demanding less government involvement in a country whose population favours an interventionist government. But his support for ending net neutrality, itself a wildly unpopular move south of the border, found few supporters, even among those who said they usually agree with him.
