McDonald's Newest Happy Meal Is An Unexpected Collab & People Are Lovin' It
Just when we thought McDonald's and Crocs couldn't possibly release a collab cuter than their Grimace slides, they've gone and struck gold once again. This time around, the two brands will be collaborating on a special Crocs Happy Meal.
The Instagram food news account @snackolator confirmed that the Crocs Happy Meal will include Crocs Clips, miniature keychains inspired by their iconic footwear.
"These are currently out in a handful of countries and they have 10 total and each one comes in the cutest little Crocs box. A big disclaimer that it's possible the designs (and number) could differ in the US, but the Happy Meal is definitely coming to the USA," @snackolator revealed in their Instagram post.
Not only does the Happy Meal come in a fun, Crocs-branded Happy Meal box, the Crocs Clips come with their own adorable packaging (and stickers!).
Although fans are pretty excited about the unique Happy Meal offering, some wonder if it neglects its target audience: children.
"I'd be sad as a kid to receive this. I miss when they used to give actual toys like those electronic game ones," read one comment under @snackolator's post.
Others chimed in, sharing that they missed Happy Meal items like Beanie Babies and Barbie dolls.
Given the popularity of bag charms and other trinkets you can attach to your clothes, shoes, and other items, something tells us that this generation might just be okay with Crocs keychains in their Happy Meals.
The Crocs Happy Meal is currently available in Singapore and other international markets, and there's no word yet on when they'll be released in the U.S.
