Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor may be the most well-known members of the youngest generation of royals, but they have some adorable relatives who tend to stay out of the spotlight. One such member of the royal family? Isla Phillips, the 10-year-old granddaughter of Princess Anne.

Here's what you need to know about her:

Isla Elizabeth Phillips was born on March 29, 2012.

Her parents are Peter and Autumn Phillips. When he wed Canadian Autumn Kelly in 2008, Peter Philips became the first of the Queen's grandchildren to marry. The couple's first child, Savannah, was born in 2010, and Isla arrived a year and a half later.

Isla was born at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, weighing in at seven pounds and four ounces. At the time, the palace released a statement saying the Queen and her family were "delighted" by her arrival.

"The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Autumn’s family have been informed and are delighted with the news," read the announcement. "Isla Elizabeth is the second child for Peter and Autumn, the second grandchild for the Princess Royal and the second great-grandchild for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh."

While it has been speculated that Isla's middle name is in honor of her great-grandmother the Queen, that has never been officially confirmed.

Her parents divorced in 2020. In statement, they said, "The couple's first priority will remain the continued well being and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla." They announced they will both remain in Gloucestershire to co-parent the girls.

When the divorce was finalized in 2021, the couple said in a statement, "Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost."

She is currently 19th in line to the British throne.

Despite her position in the order of succession, Isla Phillips does not hold the title of Her Royal Highness. According to the BBC, children of the daughter of a monarch are not "entitled to the rank" and when Isla's father, Peter Phillips, was born, his parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, reportedly declined the Queen's offer to give him a title. Since neither of her parents have a royal rank, Isla doesn't have one either.

Despite the fact that the Phillips family lives a fairly low-key life, Isla is present at certain royal events, including Trooping the Colour most years. Isla made her debut at the Queen's annual birthday parade in 2017. She and her sister stood near Prince George and Princess Charlotte on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Isla appeared on the balcony again for Trooping the Colour in 2018 and 2019.

The Phillips family has also joined the rest of the royal family for Christmas mass numerous times, and they typically attend the royal family's annual Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

And Isla and her royal cousins were in attendance for many of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee events, and was still spotted with other members of the royal family—including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Here she is waving a flag with her sister, Savannah, at the Platinum Party at the Palace:

Isla and her older sister Savannah accompanied their dad, Peter Phillips, to Westminster Hall on the Friday evening before the Queen's funeral for the Vigil of the Princes, and on the day of the Queen's funeral, she attended the committal service in Windsor.

Isla often spends time with her royal relatives.

Isla has many playmates within the royal family. Some of her best buddies include her second cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

She also appears to be fond of her cousin Mia Tindall. Mia, the daughter of Peter's sister Zara, is roughly two years younger than Isla, but they've been photographed playing together many times over the years. At the Whatley Manor Horse Trials at Gatcombe Park in 2018, for example, the cousins were spotted having a great time on the sidelines.

Isla was a royal bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie's wedding.

Isla and her sister Savannah joined several other young royals including Mia Tindall, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Maud Windsor, as members of Eugenie's bridal party.
