Megan Thee Stallion’s Corkscrew Braid Is Longer Than a CVS Receipt

If you've been following Megan Thee Stallion's career since the beginning, it's no surprise to see how much the young rapper has achieved in just four years. On September 22, she reached another milestone achievement when Time Magazine announced she was one of its 100 Most Influential People of 2020. In the cover photo, she looks stunning in a mustard-colored gown with a super long braided ponytail that would have Rapunzel shook.

Thee Stalli shared more photos of her lengthy, twisty braid with her Instagram hotties on the same day. She is dressed in a full-length black velvet dress  — which she also wore in her Time shoot — with a slit that hits her mid-thigh. She paired the gown with a bold red lip and golden smoky eye.

The corkscrew braid, as her hairstylist Kellon Deryck calls it, falls way below Megan's waist, reaching past her knees. Deryck slicked her hair into a tight low ponytail to create the style. It's unclear whether he used kanekalon hair or human hair extensions to achieve the inches that make this braid look out of this world.

A silver-colored wire was wrapped around the lengthy ponytail starting from the base to a few inches above the tip. Her swooped baby hairs look glued in place by a strong edge control to complete this gorgeous corkscrew braided ponytail.

When we first spoke to Megan a year ago, we had a feeling the only place her career could go was up. The young rapper continues to grace us with her bubbly and unapologetic presence, chart-topping music, and beauty looks that make us swoon every single time. And she is showing no signs of stopping. "I love the fact that we have so many women in music right now," she shares in her Time Magazine interview video. "So I just feel like it’s better to work together because we could really just take over all of this."
