Megan Thee Stallion Rebranded Having Short Nails as a “Mini Manicure”

Megan Thee Stallion is experimenting with short nails, and her “mini manicure” couldn't be cuter.

The rapper, who is known for her long, colorful, ever-changing manicures, changed things up in a big (or is it short?) way recently with what may be her shortest set ever. But don't worry—the mani still brings her signature Hottie flair. “Love my lil mini mani,” Megan wrote on TikTok, where she shared a gallery of her new nails, set to her song “Bigger in Texas.”

Each nail is its own little masterpiece, a mix of several different colors in solid, shimmery, and holographic finishes. On one hand, her pinky finger is a creamy blue-violet shade, while her ring finger is a bright chartreuse holo with tons of lit-from-within shimmer. Her middle finger is a collision of colors, with a subtle navy tip blending into a topaz yellow, ending with a magenta-and-black fusion. Her pointer finger is a unicorn-esque mix of shimmery purple and blue holo, and her thumb is a cool greenish-gray shade. Each color is totally different from the next, but they all work perfectly together, and you could easily get lost staring at the shape-shifting shades. (Not to mention her icy silver-white eyeshadow, which is sending us back to 2003 in the very best way.)

Our favorite celebrity nail trendsetters have really been embracing chrome and holographic finishes this season, like Jennifer Lopez's frosty ice-blue “moonstone manicure”, Selena Gomez's starry “cosmic silver gloss” nails, and Hailey Bieber's glowing, golden apple cider set. Megan's mini manicure also includes a top trending nail color for winter 2025: chartreuse! “It isn’t your typical winter green,” nail artist Sarah Chue told Allure. The indigo purple of her pinky finger is also right on trend for the season, so if you've got a nail appointment coming up, you know exactly which shades to choose.
