Megan Thee Stallion Wore a Corset Top and Sheer Skirt on the VMAs 2024 Red Carpet — See Photos

Hosting the MTV Video Music Awards 2024 tonight, Megan Thee Stallion naturally had to pull out all the stops. The rapper arrived on the red carpet, and her look is simultaneously classically chic, super trendy, and unexpected.

Megan wore a long black gown with a twist. The top of the dress was a corset bodysuit with a lace overlay. The mermaid silhouette skirt was sheer from the hips to just above the knee, but then a sculptural fabric wrapped around the knees and turned into a train. She styled the look with simple silver jewelry, opting for the no necklace trend.

In true Megan Thee Stallion fashion, she didn't skip a single detail for her look tonight and delivered in the beauty department as well. She wore her signature makeup look, with a sharp smokey eye, pink blush, and lined glossy lips lips. She styled her short black hair in a sharp bob with bangs. As for her nails, she had a long nude stiletto manicure.

Megan is known for her experimental looks. When it comes to hair, she's tried everything from a bright orange hairdo that reminded us of The Flinstones to a natural style to give her hair a break. She's also had an impressive collection of manicures, whether she's wearing fang nails for a music video, opting short nail art so she can go boxing or repping Invader Zim with her set. And, of course, we can't forget she helped us find the hottest nail color of summer 2024. Similarly, Megan's outfits throughout the years have incorporated some of the season's hottest trends and influenced them as well.

Since she is the host and one of the performers for the VMAs, we'll be seeing her a lot tonight, so she might be trying out a bunch of different looks, but hopefully, she'll give us enough time to process this one first!
