Meghan Markle just wore glossy mermaid waves for a new non-royal portrait
Since Meghan and Harry first stepped out of the royal spotlight, the world has been waiting in anticipation for their next move. And it doesn't look like they plan on putting their feet up and watching daytime television, that's for sure.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's next engagement is a virtual TIME 100 talk, where they will discuss how we use the internet and social media, and explore how we can create online communities that are more compassionate, safe, and trustworthy.
The event comes after Meghan spoke of the trolling she received while pregnant with Archie Harrison, talking on the Teenager Therapy mental health podcast about how she was the most trolled person in the entire world in 2019.
Ahead of the event, the couple sat for a new official portrait, and it's unlike any of their previous royal pictures. Harry can be seen smiling down the lens, with a laughing, suit-wearing Meghan leaning against him, not even looking into the camera.
And because we're beauty editors, we couldn't help but notice her hair (it looks beautiful, no?) Meghan has definitely become more experimental with the way she styles it following royal retirement, wearing a California-cool side pony, going caramel-coloured for autumn, and even sporting a slicked-back centre part for a previous TIME magazine appearance.
In this latest picture, she opted for super-long, relaxed mermaid waves - the black-and-white shot capturing the incredible gloss on it.
