Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Left a Comment on Prince Louis's Birthday Instagram, Because Royals Are Just Like Us

From ELLE

Aunt Meghan Markle and Uncle Prince Harry saw the birthday portraist of their youngest nephew Prince Louis shared on Prince William and Kate Middleton's Kensington Palace Instagram account, and the two left a sweet comment. "Happy Birthday Louis!" Meghan and Harry wrote from their SussexRoyal Instagram. "Sending lots of love from both of us 🎈🎂 xo."

Given the casual emoji use and "xo," there's good reason to believe Meghan may have written the comment herself. Many royal watchers, after all, have been speculating that Meghan is the author of several captions on the SussexRoyal account.

But regardless of whether the two collectively wrote it or just one of them did, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's choice to publicly comment on Louis's birthday Instagram helps put royal feud rumors to bed. Those rift stories picked up again this weekend, when some outlets noted that Harry had very little contact with Louis's parents Kate and William during Easter service on Sunday.

Entertainment Tonight was told by a source that there was "obvious distance" between the royal brothers at the Easter service. And People did an entire cover story earlier this month about Harry and William's drifting apart.

The outlet singled out one major cause of friction between the boys: When William told Harry before he proposed to Meghan that he may be moving too fast with her. An insider told Peoplethat when Harry told his family he wanted to marry Meghan after less than a year of dating her, William "cautioned Harry that things were moving too quickly, leaving Harry angry and hurt."

When reports of Meghan and Harry's potential longterm visit to Africa broke this weekend, the Daily Mail came in and made it clear that the move isn't because of relationship issues between the couples. Harry has wanted to pursue a foreign sabbatical for "many years," its correspondent Rebecca English reported.
