Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have revealed details about how their son Archie is growing up and we can’t quite get over their comments about his hair and eyebrows.

On Tuesday night (15th October), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London during which the Prince broke down into tears mid-speech about his experience of becoming a father earlier this year.

While meeting with children and parents during the event, the Duchess told one girl and her mother that earlier in the day she had taken Archie for his first [playgroup] class.

‘It was a lot of fun,’ she revealed. ‘He loved it.’

However, it was the Duke and Duchess’ conversation with a family from Liverpool that truly shed light on which parent the five-month-old resembles more.

Mother Angela Sutherland told HELLO! magazine that Meghan revealed her son has red hair, with Harry noting that he even has ginger eyebrows.

‘Harry said he’d had no hair for five months, but Meghan told him she had taken him to the playgroup and she said there were other children there with the same amount of hair or even less,’ Sutherland explained.

Prince Harry’s comments come days after he and Ed Sheeran spoke of their experiences of having red hair in a humorous video to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day.

Last night, the 35-year-old royal opened up about how he and Meghan knew they were expecting their first child when they attended last year’s awards ceremony.

‘Last year, when my wife and I attended, we knew we were expecting our first child — no one else did at the time, but we did — and I remember…,’ Harry said before his voice broke and he welled up with tears.

The royal then collected himself and added: ‘I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tight during the awards, both of us thinking what it would be like to be parents one day.

‘And more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time.’

‘And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own.’

On Sunday 20th October, the royals will be the focus of a new documentary - Harry & Meghan: An African Journey - on ITV detailing their recent 10-day trip of south Africa.
