Meghan Markle Shares the First Look at Her Future Maternity Wardrobe
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, dressed the bump and kicked off her tour of the Southern hemisphere.
Meghan Markle announced yesterday that she is expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry. And today in Australia, the Duchess of Sussex dressed the bump for her first official engagement, kicking things off with local label, Karen Gee, before swapping out her sheath for a shirtdress from American designer Brandon Maxwell in the afternoon.
The optic white piece from Gee recalled the bright yellow Maxwell piece Markle wore this past July at Kensington Palace, and she again grounded her look with neutral tone stilettos. For a cocktail reception hosted by Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove, Markle switched into that Maxwell-designed shirtdress, which was a custom riff on a Spring 2019 look. The moss green color was punctuated by gold jewelry from Princess Diana’s collection.
