Prince Harry is shaping up to be quite the model husband. And just this week, the British royal was reported to have cut out alcohol and caffeine altogether at his wife's request, looking happier and healthier than ever with the expectant mother-to-be at his side.

Markle, who has long been vocal about leading a well balanced lifestyle that includes hot yoga sessions and a vegan diet, is bringing that positive influence into her marriage. According to Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nicholl, upon moving in together, the brunette cleaned out all the junk food found in the prince’s cabinets, replacing them with fresh vegetables from her local Whole Foods Market, just steps away from Kensington Palace. Since then, the duo has shared an interest in preparing freshly made meals together—even famously proclaiming their love over home-cooked roast chicken.

Trading in his beloved morning bacon for something slightly more heart healthy before their 2018 wedding, Harry reportedly worked with London-based nutritionist, Gabriela Peacock. The expert, who is a big fan of antioxidant-packed berries and fresh, superfood smoothie bowls, has been known to fine-tune the diets of many English public figures (including recent royal bride, Princess Eugenie). In addition to recommending a diet that’s low in sugar, high in protein, and completely devoid of dairy, Peacock has also formulated a line of nutritional supplements targeting everything from immunity to sleep to best aid her clients.

But as Peacock would likely agree, adopting clean food choices in only the half of it. That’s why Prince Harry traded his longtime right-hand accessory—his Marlboro Lights—thanks to Markle's encouragement. And the Prince, who is no stranger to a heart-pumping workout, having spent a decade in the military, is a regular in the gym, likely due in part to the influence of his fit wife. After all, Markle, a former Tracy Anderson Method member when she lived in Los Angeles, has been spotted working out at Chelsea’s KX studio, where her fiancé has also been known to get in a training session or two, since moving to London in 2017. And that commitment is paying off for her other half: Prince Harry seems more sculpted than ever, sporting fitted knits and tailored suits with confidence.

With alcohol now rumored to be off the table, Markle's influence shows no signs of slowing down.
