Meghan Markle hasn't said a word about her father beyond her statement before her wedding to Prince Harry in May-and hasn't said a word to him since her nuptials. But sources close to her have described her as deeply hurt, at her wit's end, and fed up with Thomas Markle's emotional blackmailing of her through his continuous paid interviews to British tabloids and TMZ.
Now, Daily Mail-one of Thomas's preferred outlets to talk to-got another exclusive from one of Meghan's "close" friends about the one condition on which Meghan will talk to her father. "The only reason Meghan hasn't spoken to her father yet is because she's yet to hear from him in a respectful manner," that source said. "Thomas is speaking to the press more than he's reached out and spoken to his own daughter." Meaning if Thomas was to reach out privately, Meghan would be more open to answering.
The source pointed out that Thomas also always had a way to reach Meghan despite his claims otherwise: through her mother, Doria Ragland. "He knows that her mother Doria is in touch with her, and Thomas knows how to reach Doria," the source said. "If Thomas truly wanted to speak with Meghan, he could easily have sent a letter to her mother and asked her to pass it along. Unfortunately that wouldn't sell papers or fit into his fabricated and salacious narrative."
