Meghan Markle has always known the importance of a good concealer.

In an interview before before her royal days, the then-actress named YSL’s Touche Éclat High Cover Radiant Concealer as one of her all-time favourite makeup products.

"To open up your eyes, apply a highlighter like Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Éclat in the inner corner,” Markle said. “This trick is especially good when we’re filming at 3 a.m. and I need to look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.”

The product is “a skin-loving brush concealer that brightens the under-eyes with natural, buildable and weightless coverage.”

The Duchess isn't alone in her love for the highlighting concealer; other famous fans of YSL's beloved concealer include Victoria Beckham, Busy Philipps and Zoë Kravitz.

The details

This “skin-loving” concealer is designed to “visibly brighten” dark circles for a weightless, medium coverage that’s buildable to suit your needs.

Even though the Touche Éclat has a radiant finish, it doesn’t contain any glitter to avoid looking overdone and is currently available in 16 different shades.

YSL’s forum contains hyaluronic acid, an anti-aging super ingredient, as well as vitamin E antioxidants that work to help keep your skin looking plump and youthful, even while you’re wearing makeup.

What others are saying

It's not just Markle, Beckham and Kravitz who trust YSL's natural-looking formula for their day to day and red carpet looks. The handy, travel-friendly concealer pen has earned more than 39,000 "loves" from Sephora shoppers and more than 1,300 customer reviews from Nordstrom shoppers.

Fans have called it a "must have" for "flawless" coverage that won't leave your skin looking cakey or overdone.

One shopper said they were "shocked" by how well the formula works on mature skin and fine lines to provide coverage without getting caught or building up in any wrinkles.

“I’ve been searching high and low for a concealer that worked for my mature normal skin, most would dry my under eyes and cake up,” wrote one reviewer. “This one works - does not creep into my fine lines, does not move. I just love it. Finally found a keeper.”

Other shoppers said that even though the formula is medium coverage, it's buildable enough to handle "mega dark circles" and acne scarring.

“This covered everything so easily!" another said. "I get little to no sleep right now with my 1-year-old, but you'd never know that with this in my arsenal! My face looks so bright and awake now!”

“This is an amazing concealer!” raved a s Sephora shopper, adding that they struggle with dark circles due to sleepless nights as a new mom. "I’d say it’s a medium coverage, it covers but still looks natural and radiant. Super easy to apply and doesn’t get stuck on fine wrinkles.”

Even though there are tons of rave reviews, like all makeup, what works best for some might not work best for all.

If you're someone who requires or simply prefers a full-coverage concealer and doesn't love the "natural" make-up look, this concealer might not be for you. Since YSL is a luxury beauty brand, the price tag is relatively higher than some other brands on the market. However, if you've tried everything and are having no luck with drugstore or full-coverage concealers with your specific skincare needs, it might be worth a try.
