The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Royal Variety Performance at The London Palladium on Monday night.

Meghan, who is expecting her first child in spring 2019, showed off her growing baby bump in a £895 monochrome Safiyaa London sequin top and long black skirt. Her hair was styled in a sleek bun and she accessorised with a glittery clutch bag and her Birks Snowstorm diamond earrings.

Upon arrival, she went straight over to speak to a little girl who had been standing waiting for her, who gave the Duchess a teddy bear and a card for her unborn baby.

Harry donned a black tux for the occasion, as they met this year’s stars before the show.

The evening will be hosted by Greg Davies and the couple will watch performances from Take That, the cast of Hamilton, George Ezra, Clean Bandit, the cast of ‘Tina, The Tina Turner Musical’, and Andrea and Matteo Bocelli.

Earlier this summer, the Duke and Duchess watched the musical Hamilton in London’s West End, in aid of his HIV charity, Sentebale. Harry made the crowd laugh by bursting into song during a speech.

Opera singer Andrea Bocelli also sang at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in October.

The annual Royal Variety Performance takes place every year and is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity (RVC), of which the Queen is Patron.

The money raised from the show helps hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK, who are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.

In particular, the charity assists former members of the entertainment industry living in Brinsworth House, a residential home in Twickenham, which is owned and run by the charity.

As Meghan entered the theatre, she was given a posy that included foliage from Brinsworth House garden.

Harry attended his first Royal Variety Performance in 2015 when it was held at the Royal Albert Hall.

Last year his brother William proved he was a good sport by galloping in the audience, when asked by host Miranda Hart and a little girl. His wife Kate couldn’t contain her giggles.
