Melania Trump stuns in plum Delpozo coat while arriving in Seoul

Melania Trump has proven time and time again that she has bold fashion risks down pat.

The first lady arrived alongside President Trump Tuesday morning in Seoul, South Korea, sporting a fall trend we couldn't pull off even if our lives depended on it: An avant-garde ensemble.

Stepping off Air Force One and onto the runway, she stunned in an almost-plum sculptural coat dress by Spanish designer Delpozo. The silhouette, which retails for a hefty $4,000, was the first look of the second stop on the presidential tour of Asia.

FLOTUS paired the mauve ensemble with royal blue stilettos to meet South Korean First Lady Kim Jung-sook, with whom she toured the presidential palace and later met with schoolchildren. The fall-esque outfit featured a zipper and thin belt, and was polished off with a volumized updo.

Melania talked to the students about sportsmanship and teamwork to encourage female participation in the Olympic games. "Some girls want to become Olympians and many girls simply want to be active and enjoy sport for the fun of it," she said.

"The Olympics are just around the corner. I am sure you are all very excited about next year's games. It will be an amazing opportunity to bring the world together through our shared love of sport," she explained of the Games' power.

The structural style is a trend she tested back in late September to deliver a speech to the United Nations. The hot pink ensemble, which was designed by the same label, garnered a lot of criticism, but Twitter seemed fond of Take 2.

Later today, the Trumps attended an official dinner hosted at the president's Blue House, where Melania changed into a navy lace and sequin J. Mendel gown. The shimmering and sophisticated look was another hit for the first lady's fashion tour.
