It might be the end of the Midnight, Texas world as we know it. And they are definitely far from fine.
After surviving vampire buses, angel bounty hunters, a white supremacist motorcycle gang, a succubus, a loose weretiger, a serial killer sibling, a sandstorm, a Kentucky-fried boyfriend, and some creepy, faceless demonic foot soldiers, tonight’s finale will likely bring the gang of misfit boys and girls their biggest test — Kolkenar, the mega demon with an evil Barry White voice trying to get in the peasant skirts of the virgin witch.
But first, from the looks of this exclusive clip of the episode titled “The Virgin Sacrifice,” the Midnighters return to help Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Henley) fight off Kolkenar now that the veil between hell and Earth is getting super thin, and they commence with their Shootout at the OK Corral reenactment.
Not that it seems like she wants their help. When Creek (Sarah Ramos) and Bobo (Dylan Bruce) make their way to her house, she chastises them for coming. She wants to handle Kolkenar herself with her fire hands so no one else gets hurt like Manfred (François Arnaud). Creek quickly informs her that her spell worked, Manfred returned from the dead, and he met the shaman who doled out some answers about killing her supernatural stalker.
And just as she starts another round of protest about how she couldn’t live with herself if others died for her, a wraith gets handsy with Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) in Fiji’s front yard. Is the town’s favorite assassin down for the count? Will hell open? Will Kolkenar succeed? Will the audience get closure in case the show doesn’t get a second season?
The Season 1 finale of Midnight, Texas airs tonight on NBC at 10 p.m.
