A 21-0 lead in the third quarter against Colorado wasn’t enough for Washington State‘s Mike Leach to excuse offensive ineptness on Saturday night.

After Leach’s offense had a second-straight three-and-out in the third quarter, ESPN’s cameras captured members of Washington State’s offense doing pushups and up-downs on the sideline with Leach keeping a close eye on them.

No. 15 Washington State won 28-0 as Colorado couldn’t get anything cooking offensively. The Buffaloes were aggressive on fourth downs throughout the game and weren’t too successful. Colorado turned the ball over to Washington State four times on downs.

The defense was a big reason Wazzu cruised as Colorado had just 174 total yards. Meanwhile, Washington State QB Luke Falk was just 17-34 passing for 197 yards, though he threw three touchdowns. The Cougars also ran for 194 yards.
