Miley Cyrus Has the Best Response to Those New Pregnancy Rumors
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially tied the knot last month, so it was only a matter of time before the pregnancy rumors started rolling in. Lo and behold just three weeks later: The Daily Mail reports that the newly married couple is expecting their first child. Thankfully, Cyrus was prepared for these types of stories, and she responded last night with the greatest clap-back of 2019 (so far):
"I’m not 'Egg-xpecting' but it’s 'Egg-celent' to hear everyone is so 'Happy For Us' ....we’re happy for us too," Cyrus tweeted on Wednesday night (January 16) alongside a link of The Daily Mail's article. "'Egg-cited' for this next chapter in our lives.... Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg."
With this tweet, she also photoshopped that egg currently going viral on Instagram onto her stomach, hence all the egg puns. Check out the tweet for yourself, below:
According to Pop Crave, Cyrus replied "bullshit" on Instagram when a fan asked if these pregnancy rumors are true.
What isn't a lie, however, is Hemsworth and Cyrus' wedding, which happened over the holidays. Cyrus shared this photo on December 26, confirming the nuptials.
"I love how you always try things your way, but are never to[o] proud to ask for help. (Yes, I’ve noticed and taken note, I’m a work in progress.) The way you paint, the colors you choose…. I love your dirty socks on the floor cause that means YOU’RE HOME," Cyrus wrote in a love letter to Hemsworth that she posted to Instagram for his birthday on Monday (January 14). "I love how you learn and grow. I love writing songs about you on the piano. I love how you let ME be ME."
