Miley Cyrus Shaved Cody Simpson's Head During Isolation

So far, this period of social distancing has proven to be a great time to experiment with our looks, our vibes, and our life — and celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are getting in on the action as well.

On April 2, Simpson debuted a brand-new haircut during an Instagram Live session on Cyrus's Bright Minded series. While discussing his upcoming poetry book, Prince Neptune, Cody unveiled his new buzzcut and took a minute to acknowledge the drastic hair change, revealing it was Cyrus herself who had shaved his head.

"I was mad about my own haircut so I had to give Cody a little makeover as well," Cyrus shared during the episode.

"She did it, by the way," Simpson added. "She buzzed it, so it’s all her fault."

"It’s always my fault," Cyrus responded with a smile. "I love it. You look so cute."

Simpson revealed the new 'do after reading a poem he wrote about Miley. The poem will be included in his book, set to be released on April 7. But the live reading session isn't the only homage the couple has paid to the book as of late. It seems that Simpson and Cyrus have taken the book’s title and iconography to heart as they recently visited Los Angeles-based artist Nico Bassill to get Cody’s trademark trident logo inked in matching tattoos.
