Mindy Kaling Announces the 2025 Golden Globes Nominees in Yellow Rachel Gilbert Midi Dress
Mindy Kaling announced the 2025 Golden Globes nominations in Beverly Hills on Monday alongside actor Morris Chestnut. The actress and screenwriter coordinated her dress to the statue’s gleaming hue, sporting a yellow tiered midi dress by Rachel Gilbert.
Kaling accessorized her off-the-shoulder frock with diamond-encrusted jewelry including hoop earrings, rings and a necklace. A pair of metallic open-toe heels completed her ensemble.

The creator of “Never Have I Ever” wore her dark tresses in a sleek bob, while her makeup consisted of brown eye shadow, rosy blush and a deep mauve lip.
Films including “Emilia Pérez,” “Wicked” and “Anora” received multiple nominations, as did shows “Shōgun,” “The Bear” and “Slow Horses.” The 2025 Golden Globes will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 5, with a streaming option available on Paramount+.
In September, Kaling attended a Los Angeles launch event for the skin care brand Lion Pose. She’s currently an investor in the company, which recently released its Pep Talk moisturizer. Kaling modeled a red sequined V-neck minidress by Monique Lhuillier, accessorizing with minimal jewelry and nude open-toe heels.
Lion Pose was founded by Silicon Valley alums Madhu Punjabi and Nisha Phatak, who sought to develop a line suited for diverse skin tones. The brand is also currently sold at Sephora.
“My decision to come on board Lion Pose was simple,” Kaling said in a statement last year. “I found an unbeatable product that was backed by a vision I have always believed in, and one that has informed everything I do in my career. That representation and inclusion are just good business. Madhu and Nisha are deeply committed to the idea that inclusivity in clinical skin care is not the goal, but the requirement for any good product.”
