Minivan crash in Oakville injures 2
Two people are in hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Oakville.
Police say a westbound minivan lost control and slammed into a tree at 6:15 a.m. on Upper Middle Road east of Trafalgar Road.
The male driver and female passenger were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters.
The woman was airlifted to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, the man was taken to Oakville Trafalgar Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police reopened the area to traffic at about 2:30 p.m.
