Minor charged with armed robbery, sexual assault
Montreal police have arrested a suspect after a string of alleged armed robberies and sexual assaults took place in Montreal's north end neighbourhood of Ahuntsic.
Police say the suspect, who is a minor, appeared in youth court Tuesday to face six charges — four counts of armed robbery and two counts of sexual assault.
The young male allegedly approached victims and threatened them, demanding they hand over their personal belongings. He is also accused of asking victims to perform gestures of a sexual nature.
The alleged incidents took place near Sauvé Metro between May 25 and May 29.
