Modesto man injured in Oakdale Road gas station shooting. Police searching for suspect

One person was injured in a shooting at a gas station on Oakdale Road early Thursday morning, according to the Modesto Police Department.

Police received calls at about 1:10 a.m. that multiple shots were fired at the Speedway Express gas station at 2501 Oakdale Road, just south of Floyd Avenue.

A Modesto man with multiple gunshot wounds was taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The victim arrived at the gas station on a bicycle. It’s not been determined whether there was an altercation or why the shooting took place.

A truck fled the area after witnesses heard gunshots.
