Mohamed El Khayat arrested again by UPAC

Quebec's anti-corruption unit has arrested the founder of a Quebec City computer company for a third time.

Mohamed El Khayat was director at Informatique EBR, which was allegedly linked to a corruption scheme aimed at obtaining a multi-million dollar IT contract.

UPAC says he is accused of fabricating false documents to use in his defense, breaching bail conditions, and obstructing justice.

Khayat was already facing multiple fraud-related charges.

Informatique EBR closed its doors earlier this year.
