California native Travis DeRose didn’t want typical vacation photos when he ventured across the pond for a two-month trip to Europe.

To create a unique set of memories, DeRose channeled his inner Michael Jackson and took to the streets moonwalking.

“It started on a previous trip to Ireland when I was getting my photo taken in front of a castle. Instead of just standing there looking awkward, I started moonwalking and it actually turned out pretty cool,” he said.

“So when I started this big Europe trip I started moonwalking every place we went.”

The young tourist traveled through 13 countries in two months. He ventured from Iceland to Italy and from Spain to the Czech Republic preforming the dance move in front of 27 different landmarks.

He then edited the footage into a 30-second video that shows him in a range of different environments, with outfit changes and gorgeous scenery switches.

The video is like a micro tour to the continent. How many famous landmarks can you point out?
