Health officials in Saskatchewan say the number of COVID-19 cases in the province's north linked to a church event has grown.
Earlier this week, the Saskatchewan Health Authority said it was investigating a community transmitted COVID-19 outbreak that involved contact tracing more than 100 people linked to a series of Full Gospel Outreach events in Prince Albert.
At the time of that announcement, it said six people who attended the events between Sept. 14 and last Sunday had tested positive.
By Saturday, province said that number had grown to 13 cases associated with the outbreak.
The province says nine of the active cases in the Central East zone, meanwhile, have been linked to a single workplace and include employees and close contacts.
Saskatchewan reported 34 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, but the number of deaths from the pandemic remained at 24.
