'Emily in Paris' Is Officially Renewed for Another Season: Everything We Know

Is there more Emily in Paris in the works?

The second half of season four dropped this past week, and today, Netflix confirmed that yes, Emily, Sylvie, Mindy, and the rest of the Emily in Paris crew will be back for a fifth season.

"There's no place like Rome," the streamer posted. "Emily in Paris is coming back for a SEASON 5!" The images show star Lily Collins drinking from an espresso cup that has a '5' on the bottom:

Before the official renewal, fans had an inkling that there was a fifth season of Emily in Paris happening, thanks to an auction item at the amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024.

During the sale, attendees could bid on a walk-on role on Emily in Paris season five. Per the blurb, "From Sex and the City to Emily in Paris, Darren Star brings dreams to life, and he will bring the film dreams to life for one lucky bidder with a walk-on role during Season 5 of Emily in Paris. The show follows the young and ambitious Emily, an American marketing executive, as she is transferred to her dream job in Paris. With extravagant fashion and scenes from the most beautiful spots in Paris, Saint-Tropez, and Rome, the series creates a thrilling world that just one winning bidder will have the amazing chance to step into!"

Yet, after Variety reported on this auction, the amfAR Gala's site clarified the winning bidder will get to spend a day on set in Paris during filming "contingent upon season 5 pickup."

We can expect the main cast to reprise their roles in season five, including Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat, Lucien Laviscount, and William Abadie.
