More haze in Manitoba, high 26 C for Winnipeg
Another hazy day is expected in southern Manitoba, due to drifting forest fire smoke from Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
For the second consecutive day, Environment Canada has issued a special air quality statement that covers most of the province.
It is worst in areas closest to the Saskatchewan border, where visibility and air quality are both poor at times, according to Environment Canada.
Winnipeg forecast:
- High 26 C.
- UV index 7 (high).
- Tonight, partly cloudy, low 15 C.
