The City of Regina is getting rid of more big, metal dumpsters and more residents are getting individual rolling bins.
It's part of the city's waste management plan that will eventually include curbside recycling.
Crews spent Wednesday morning hauling away stacks of dumpsters from Regina's Cathedral neighbourhood. The old dumpsters are being taken to the junkyard.
The city said about 29,000 homes will be getting the new rolling bins.
To date, about 6,000 old ones have been removed.
The transition started in 2011 and the city said it hopes to be done the job by next spring.
