Motorcyclist dead after 2-vehicle crash in North York
A male motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Toronto on Monday evening, police say.
The crash happened in the area of Sheppard Avenue West and Sentinel Road. Emergency crews were called to the area at 6:15 p.m.
Toronto paramedics said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcycle appears to have broken apart and debris was strewn on the road.
Police have not released the motorcyclist's age.
Const. Laura Brabant, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service, said the other driver remained on the scene.
Sheppard Avenue West is closed in both directions as traffic services officers continue to investigate.
