A motorcyclist has died after striking a deer early Monday morning near Conway.
William Pryor, 58, died from the accident that happened around 1:30 a.m. on Old Bucksville Road near Keysfield Circle outside of Conway, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
The Conway man was operating a 2013 Honda motorcycle when he hit the deer, causing him to travel off the roadway, according to a release from Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Pryor was transported to Grand Strand Hospital where he later died around 4:15 a.m., Willard said in a release.
