N.B. RCMP spot small pot grow-op during PM's visit

RCMP officers discovered marijuana plants while on helicopter patrol during Harper's visit to Aulac, N.B. Wednesday.

During Prime Minister Stephen Harper's visit to New Brunswick Wednesday, officers involved in security detail spotted a small outdoor marijuana grow-op from an RCMP helicopter.

Harper was visiting the region for the official opening of a research station when RCMP spotted about a dozen pot plants.

Police said the plants have now been chopped down.
