N.B. reports four COVID-19 deaths, P.E.I. reports two deaths attributed to virus

New Brunswick is reporting four more deaths attributed to the novel coronavirus and a rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

The province's COVID-19 report for the week of Aug. 21-27 says the deaths involved people between the ages of 60 and 90.

It says 31 people were hospitalized during that period compared with 22 the week prior.

The report says patients between 70 and 89 represent the highest percentage of people in hospital with the disease.

Meanwhile, Prince Edward Island is reporting two deaths related to COVID-19 over the past seven days.

Health officials in that province say one death involved someone between 60 and 79 and the other involved a person over 80.
