N.B. reports one new case of COVID-19, active cases at 35

FREDERICTON — New Brunswick is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case was identified in the Fredericton region and is connected to a previous international travel-related case.

The province has now had 344 confirmed cases, of which 303 have recovered.

Five patients remain hospitalized with one in intensive care, and active cases in the province are at 35.

New Brunswick says the Campbellton region in the northern part of the province will remain in the orange level of recovery.

Residents within the region will have to limit their contact to a single household bubble and keep external contacts to a minimum.
