Tulisa Contostavlos has thanked N-Dubz fans for their love and support as the band confirmed they are reuniting after 11 years.

The former X Factor judge announced on social media, along with her cousin Dappy Contostavlos, 34, and friend Fazer, 35, that they are reforming as N-Dubz and have announced a string of UK tour dates for November 2022.

Tulisa, 33, told her fans, who she calls NDublets: "All the gass [sp] aside I just want to say thank you to all the N-Dubz fans and supporters.

"The love and support after so long to be even stronger than it was before means everything to us.

"It may sound far fetched but to us it feels like we're a part of one big crazy family."

The tour is due to start in Newcastle on Monday 7 November and ends in Manchester on Saturday 19 November. Other tour dates include Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham.

N-Dubz released their first single You Better Not Waste My Time in 2006, reaching 26 in the UK Singles Charts.

Their 2008 track Ouch reached 22 and their highest charting hit was I Need You in 2009, which peaked at Number 5 in the UK Singles Charts and topped the UK R&B Chart at Number 1.

The grime and hip hop trio achieved a Number 1 in 2009 when they featured on Tinchy Stryder's song Number 1 and have also worked with Chipmunk and Skepta.

The band released three studio albums before parting ways with their record label Island in August 2011.

In November that year, N-Dubz announced they were taking a two-year hiatus while Tulisa and Dappy pursued solo careers.

Tulisa teased a reunion in 2012 and Fazer - real name Richard Rawson - said the band were talking about reforming in 2017.

In 2011 Tulisa was signed up by Simon Cowell to become a judge on The X Factor, where she mentored the winning girlband Little Mix.

In 2013 Tulisa was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs, but the case was dismissed in 2014 because the judge believed prosecution witness Mazher Mahmood, an undercover reporter for The Sun newspaper, had lied in court.

Mahmood – known as the Fake Sheikh – was later jailed for tampering with evidence in Tulisa's drug trial.

Tulisa was convicted of assault in 2014 for hitting a celebrity blogger at a music festival a year earlier.

Dappy and Fazer are not without controversy themselves, having been escorted off a flight from Edinburgh to London by police in 2009 after allegedly threatening passengers.

And in 2010 the band apologised after Dappy sent a death threat to a BBC Radio 1 listener who had texted The Chris Moyles Show to say she thought the music star had a "silly hat" and the band were "losers.

After DJ Moyles read the text out on air Dappy copied the listener's phone number and sent her a threatening message.
