Two newlyweds from Newfoundland's west coast who are on their honeymoon in Nepal are safe and sound, following Saturday's massive earthquake.
Steve and Natalie Wheeler were said to be hiking near Mount Everest when the quake happened.
Steve Wheeler posted on his Facebook page at 4 a.m. Sunday that they're both OK.
"We are safe and sound back in Namchee!!!!" the post reads.
The post said the couple hopes to contact family and friends sometime on Sunday.
