Naked man found wandering in Bridgewater
Bridgewater police have charged a man in his mid-twenties with mischief and a breach of undertaking after he was found naked at the edge of town early Saturday morning.
Police received a call shortly after midnight that a man wearing no clothes was on Logan Road.
“We sent our officers out and located the man there. He was arrested and taken to cells for a breach of his undertaking,” said Sgt. Dave Ramey of the Bridgewater police.
“He was lodged in cells and while in cells he did some damage there. He's been charged for breach of undertaking and causing damage.”
Ramey said the man was intoxicated.
The man was given clothes and blankets to keep warm in the cells, and those were the objects he damaged.
Police did not say exactly how he damaged the materials.
